Lumos provided White Pine County with tools and data for revising its 1999 County Water Resource Plan. The tools, section reports, and manuals were incorporated into the comprehensive, up-to-date Water Resource Plan living document. The list of deliverables provided by Lumos included: an interactive ARC View GIS base map and database of all known wells and springs in White Pine County with hyperlinks to websites with significant data bases; Manual and training on the interactive ARC View GIS base map and populating the database; a Water Rights Manual and Workshop; a Water Regulation Manual and Workshop; demographic projections for alternative population growth trends and associated water demands, and impacts for each potential development; a countywide water rights inventory categorized by water certificates, permits, priority dates, applications and commitments for White Pine County; a Monitoring and Mitigation Protocol; and a comprehensive literature summary report and bibliography with executive summaries and abstracts of all pertinent documents related to White Pine County water resources. We also recommended administrative structures and alternatives that may benefit the county.
